Reading Eggs also lets users choose different English accents, whether British English, Australian English, or American English. It also plans to add a Canadian English accent.

Reading Eggs doesn't just support parents and children at home; the program has a full suite of features that support teachers in the classroom. It has a diagnostic test that allows students to work at different reading levels (individualized learning paths). The platform enables teachers to set up assignments for individual students, small groups, and the whole class. Automated reporting provides instant feedback on students’ progress—for individuals, classes, schools, or an entire district—across various crucial literacy benchmarks. It gives a clear picture of where students are in their learning cycle. Reading Eggs also comprises a teacher toolkit with worksheets, interactive whiteboard activities, teaching notes, and posters. The program is currently used by 90,000 teachers in over 12,000 schools worldwide.

For toddlers, Reading Eggs offers a junior program that assists in building early reading skills. This means parents can support a child's learning journey from age two to being ready for school. In addition, the platform is certified as kidSAFE, eliminating the growing concern over children's data privacy, and it is completely ad-free.

The robust feature sets of Reading Eggs seamlessly support teachers' and parents’ efforts in teaching children. For example, a recent independent study was conducted at Highland Elementary School in Pennsylvania to understand the efficacy of Reading Eggs and Mathseeds (the company's online math program). It focused on kindergarten and grade one students, most of whom were reading at or below grade level. The case study showed that the students who used Reading Eggs during lockdowns maintained and improved their grade levels.
