Fred Pryor, FounderWhen he pioneered the one-day seminar back in 1970, Fred Pryor, founder of the company, had a mission to make learning accessible, efficient and economical. Since then, Pryor has come a long way to become an industry leader offering competitive training for every industry and sector. Today, Pryor provides continuous education opportunities for individuals, small businesses, large corporations, nonprofits, and government agencies. This includes clients like Cisco Systems, FedEx, Natural History Museum of L.A., Untied States Postal Service, and Volkswagen Group of America.
“We put forth a true blended learning approach that includes live and online learning options. Our goal is to make learning easy and relevant. We don’t obligate special IT requirements, pricey budgets, or drawn-out timelines to meet our clients’ needs,” states Fred Pryor. The company’s live offerings include more than 7,000 seminars across the U.S. and Canada, covering more than 600 cities. Pryor also provides on-site learning options for clients who want specialty training for their employees delivered at their own location. When it comes to complete resources, the company offers more than 10,000 educational opportunities—live and online.

“We have built our business by listening to what our learners need. They need tips on project management, Excel, and FMLA law just as fervently as they need instruction on IT, HR, and compliance issues,” Fred points out. He recalls a specific instance: MULTIVAC, an international packaging company with more than 4,000 employees began rapidly expanding their workplace. Suddenly, they had to simultaneously hire, onboard, train, retain and grow employees. Being their long-time training partner, Pryor helped MULTIVAC with Pryor+, a comprehensive suite of more than 10,000 live and online courses. Pryor+ has topics addressing tactical skills and technical knowledge, as well as business acumen and leadership development. Through this partnership, MULTIVAC continues to experience tremendous growth, while also ensuring that their employees are compliant with all regulatory and legally mandated training.
Moving ahead, Pryor is looking forward to integrate application development and gamification to en-rich its already robust learning experience. “In the coming year, we will add a significant number of new proprietary courses to our 10,000+ catalog of live and online learning opportunities. Additionally, Pryor will be introducing new languages to offer content in English, French, French-Canadian and Spanish,” comments Rebecca Murray, Marketing Communications Supervisor at Pryor.
