The institution has deployed Tsunami 820 point to point wireless solution in all its 'hands on' laboratory training sessions. The solution offers unparalleled performance by harnessing the advantages of MIMO, OFDM, and the WORP advanced MAC protocol. Moreover, WORP offers a full suite of performance features such as asymmetric bandwidth control, IGMP Snooping and interference mitigation features, to deliver exceptionally high system throughputs with minimal latency, jitter, and packet loss.
“The Tsunami product line simply outperformed. We chose Proxim's Tsunami 820 solutions because of their superior QoS (Quality of Service), low latency, high efficiency, and advanced RF management features. Using Tsunami 820 point to point products, we will be demonstrating how high performance wireless solutions can reliably support Sony's latest imaging technology at 60 frames per second and with full high-definition (1080p) resolution," says Mr. Hector Porras, Academic Director, Security College US.
